Noah Tappendorf

Ohio Hi-Point's Noah Tappendorf, a Diesel Technology student who is homeschooled, was recently elected as a 2022-2023 SkillsUSA Southwest Regional Officer during the Ohio SkillsUSA Leadership Conference.

Nearly 40 Ohio Hi-Point students joined SkillsUSA chapters from around the state to network, participate in business and industry-led sessions, and choose from over 30 different professional development sessions.

During the conference, students interested in running for office campaigned and met with voting delegates. Tappendorf campaigned through two rounds of voting before officially being elected as the Ohio Southwest Regional Officer during the third round of voting.

As the Ohio Southwest Region officer, Tappendorf will help serve SkillsUSA members from Butler Tech/D. Russel Lee, Butler Tech/Colerain HS, Butler Tech/Fairfield HS, Butler Tech/Northwest, Butler Tech/Ross HS, Butler Tech School of Arts, Cincinnati Woodward HS, Diamond Oaks CDC, Greene County Career Center, Greenville Sr. HS, Kettering-Fairmont HS, Laurel Oaks CDC, Live Oaks CDC, Miami Valley CTC, Ohio Hi-Point Career Center, Ponitz Career Technology Center, Scarlet Oaks CDC, Springfield-Clark CTC, Stebbins HS, Tolles CTC, Tri-Star Career Compact, Upper Valley Career Center, and Warren County Career Center
