Back to School

July 29, 2022

Dear OHP Students and Families,

We are so excited to start a new school year with you and are thankful to be a part of your career journey. Our building construction project is nearly complete (as you might have seen last year during your tours and visits to campus); however, with any construction project, we have run into a few delays which will affect the start of the school year.

Due to the construction delays, the start of school has been pushed back to Monday, Aug. 22 for first-year students and Tuesday, Aug. 23 for returning students. Your partner school districts and transportation departments have been made aware of this change to the school schedule.

As we prepare the building and classrooms for students, we will continue to strive to provide top-notch career and academic education to our students in a safe and engaging learning environment.

More information and details about the start of school will be available at our Student Orientation on August 10. Orientation will be held on Ohio Hi-Point’s campus utilizing the additional buildings available. We ask that students and families complete the required documents on FinalForms before Orientation for a faster orientation process. FinalForms can be accessed through our website at www.ohiohipoint.com/orientation. Uniform apparel items, schedules, and laptops will be available for pick-up as well. Returning students need to bring their laptops with them on Orientation to ensure the computers are working properly.

We will continue to update you as we have more information to share about the upcoming school year and look forward to seeing you in August.

Sincerely,

Dr. Rick Smith
Superintendent
