It is with great excitement and anticipation that OHP extends an invitation to you and your family to Ohio Hi-Point’s Class of 2022 Convocation Ceremony.
2022 CONVOCATION CEREMONY WEDNESDAY, MAY 25, 2022 6:30 P.M.
Benjamin Logan High School Gymnasium 6609 St. Rt. 47 E. Bellefontaine, OH 43311
The Convocation Ceremony will take place at Benjamin Logan High School and will be in the high school gymnasium.
Why is it at Benjamin Logan High School? With the construction/renovation project in full swing on campus, we are unable to hold it on campus. Due to this, we are partnering with Benjamin Logan High School.
Are there guest limits and/or tickets to reserve? There are no guest limits or tickets to reserve. This is an exciting time to celebrate the Class of 2022 and with plenty of seating available, no tickets will be issued.
What is the dress attire for my graduate? Men are asked to wear a collared shirt, tie, and dress pants. Ladies are asked to wear a dress, skirt, or dress pants with a nice shirt. Graduates will wear their partner school robe, but no graduation cap is worn. This is a special evening and we ask that no participating seniors wear jeans.
What time does my graduate need to be at Benjamin Logan High School? Participating graduates need to be at Benjamin Logan High School by 4:30 p.m. to prepare for the ceremony. All graduates will meet in the auditorium.
SENIOR CELEBRATIONS AND ACTIVITIES
All seniors are required to attend and complete their course work for the reminder of the school ear. To participate in Convocation, students must have fees paid (including any computer repair bills), meet all lab requirements, and be eligible to receive a Career-Technical certificate. Seniors should check with their lab instructor if there is any doubt about receiving a certificate.
Jostens plans to make a final distribution of graduation items at OHP on April 14, 2022. If you have not received your order by April 29, please contact Jostens, your partner school, or Mrs. Showalter at OHP with any questions.
Senior Awards Ceremony
Senior Breakfast is Wednesday, May 25, 2022. This is an activity for seniors and their instructors. Students will report to school as usual for attendance and breakfast will begin around 8:30 a.m. Due to construction and limited space, labs will rotate into the Sloan Inn for breakfast, have a lab picture taken, and then report to labs for awards. At 11:30 a.m., all students will report to Campbell Hill for a Senior photo and be released for the remainder of the school day. No lunch will be served.
Convocation Ceremony
Convocation practice will be held before the ceremony on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, 4:30 p.m. at Benjamin Logan High School. Students must take part in practice in order to participate in the Convocation ceremony. Convocation will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at 6:30 p.m.
