Ohio Hi-Point joined with all Logan County Schools to host recruiters from the United States Air Force, United States Army, United States Army National Guard, United States Coast Guard, United States Marines, and the United States Navy during the week of November 8.
It is no coincidence that this is being held the same week as Veterans Day, the legal holiday in the U.S. to honor the veterans of the armed forces.
This is an opportunity for the students to explore Enlistment, one of the 3E options they will face after graduation. The Enlistment Day at OHP provides students an opportunity to talk to recruiters about options, pathways, and benefits of enlisting in the armed forces.
College Day was earlier this year, exploring Enrollment and the Career Expo in March will have opportunities for Employment. The goal of the 3E initiative is that every Senior has a plan to be Employed, Enlisted or Enrolled before leaving school.
