Construction Update

It was a big week as the high school building was officially turned over to Monarch Construction for the summer. Water and power were shut off in the main building, which allows the crew to complete the "heart transplant" of the mechanical room this summer.

It was a rainy week, but Monarch was still able to move the construction project right along. Here's what happened this week:

  • HVAC heating, domestic water piping demo.
  • Fire suppression work beginning.

New Mechanical Room:

  • New cooling tower delivered.
  • Continuing work in the chiller room including piping, sanitary, and gas main lines.
  • Installed new curbs and replaced roof drains.
