Thirty-one members of the Ohio Hi-Point/Indian Lake High School DECA Chapter competed at the Ohio DECA District 3 Fall Leadership Conference in Lima on October 13. The students showcased their skills in a variety of competitive events.
Gary Hutton placed first in the Public Relations Competition, earning the opportunity to interview for the Ohio DECA Public Relations State Officer Board position in January, with results to be announced at the Ohio Career Development Conference in February.
All members are already looking forward to competing in January at the District Career Development Conference, gaining more experience and building momentum for an exciting DECA season ahead.
