Ohio Hi-Point Career Center’s student-run businesses are open for the school year, offering community members the opportunity to enjoy high-quality services while supporting student learning.

The Sloan Kitchen, operated by Culinary Arts students, opens Monday, October 7, featuring a delicious, made-from-scratch Greek menu with gyros, fresh salads, homemade pita, and melt-in-your-mouth baklava. The Sloan Kitchen is open Tuesdays and Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Hours may vary due to school events, delays, or closings. Private parties may also be scheduled through the Culinary Arts program.

Guests can also pamper themselves at the 664th Hair Force Salon, where Cosmetology students provide haircuts, color, styling, manicures, pedicures, and facials in a professional, salon-style environment. The salon is open Wednesday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. by appointment only. Once a month, students host special Cut-a-Thon and Spa-a-Thon events, extending hours from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Appointments are required for all services.

In addition to these campus-based businesses, students across the district manage a variety of enterprises – from coffee shops to school stores – providing real-world experience and skill development.
