Ohio Hi-Point Career Center has earned a 5-Star rating on the 2024–25 Ohio School Report Card, with strong results in Achievement, Career and Post-Secondary Readiness, Graduation Rate, and Post-Program Outcomes. The Ohio School Report Card system is designed to provide parents, caregivers, community members, and policymakers with transparent information about district and school performance.

The Achievement component measures the skills and knowledge students gain in their career-technical programs. Ohio Hi-Point students had a technical skill attainment rate of 88.8 percent.

In the Career and Post-Secondary Readiness component, 95 percent of the Class of 2024 concentrators participated in an apprenticeship, internship, or other work-based learning activity.

For Graduation Rate, 98 percent of the Class of 2024 graduated within four years.

In Post-Program Outcomes, 96.6 percent of the Class of 2024 were employed, enrolled, or enlisted within six months of graduation. Of those graduates, 76.6 percent were employed, 59.1 percent enrolled in post-secondary education or training, and 2.25 percent enlisted in the military.

“These results are a testament to the dedication of our students and staff,” said Superintendent Dr. Rick Smith. “Earning 5 Stars reflects the hard work happening every day in our classrooms and labs to prepare students for success in their chosen career paths.”
