Ohio Hi-Point Career Center has launched a new communication platform, ParentSquare, to simplify how schools connect with families and foster more consistent engagement. With one place for messages, updates, forms, and more, the district is consolidating multiple tools into a single, easy-to-use system for both staff and families.
The district’s goal is to improve how families receive information, making it more accessible, timely, and responsive to different needs. With communications automatically translated into families’ preferred languages, and options to receive updates by email, app, voice, or text, ParentSquare supports meaningful engagement across the district’s diverse community.
Here’s what families can do with ParentSquare:
Receive messages from the school via email, text or app notification
Choose to receive information as it comes or all at once with a daily digest at 6pm
Communicate in your preferred language
Comment on school postings to engage with your school community
Direct message teachers, staff and other parents
Participate in group messages
Sign up for parent-teacher conferences
Sign forms, fill out permission slips, sign up to volunteer and more all from your desktop or mobile device
In addition to ParentSquare, the district has StudentSquare for OHP students.
Families and students will receive an invitation email or text to join ParentSquare (StudentSquare for students). Please click the link to activate your account. It takes less than a minute.
