Last week marked an exciting milestone for the EMT program as the Class Lieutenants were officially announced. After a rigorous selection process that included resume submissions and interviews with a panel of local first responders, the students chosen for these leadership roles are ready to take charge and support their classmates.
The EMT Class Lieutenants will serve as vital leaders within the program, acting as point persons for students who have questions and ensuring that everything runs smoothly, both in and out of the lab. Their responsibilities include taking attendance, assisting instructors, and ensuring that the program classroom and lab remains productive and supportive.
Meet the 2024 EMT Class Lieutenants:
EMT Overall Program Lieutenant In Charge: Airiana Young (Bellefontaine)
EMT Program Lieutenant: Cayman Courter (Riverside)
EMT Elective Classes Lieutenants: Caleb Parker (Indian Lake) & Conleigh High (Waynesfield-Goshen)
These students have demonstrated strong leadership skills and a dedication to the EMS field.
