Students from Ohio Hi-Point’s Kenton FFA and Upper Scioto Valley (USV) FFA Chapters recently participated in the Hardin County Fair, which took place from September 3-10, with multiple chapter members showcasing their projects and earning top awards.
A few highlights from the Hardin County Fair:
From the OHP/Kenton FFA Chapter, Dylan Searson won Grand Champion Beef Feeder, and Kylie Searson was named Reserve Champion in the Skill-A-Thon contest.
OHP/USV FFA member, Maddox Underwood, won Hardin County Born and Raised Steer Champion and Grand Champion Market Steer.
The Hardin County Fair royalty was also announced. Maddox Underwood was named 2024 Hardin County Fair King. OHP/USV FFA member Mykal Ellerbrock Johnston was named runner-up. There were 18 students from across the county who vied for crown, and each student received scholarships.
After the fair, the OHP/Kenton FFA students helped with tear-down efforts.
