Three outstanding students demonstrated their exceptional skills at the Ohio HOSA competition, securing their spots at the national level.
Angel Forester, an Allied Health and Nursing student from the OHP/Kenton program, placed first in Physical Therapy.
Ishita Dhopavkar, an Allied Health and Nursing student from the OHP/Marysville Early College program, placed second in Human Growth & Development.
Cati Snyder, an Animal Science (Bellefontaine) from the OHP Campus program, placed third in Veterinary Science.
The competition, hosted at the Glass City Center in Toledo, Ohio, was a great experience for students to showcase their skills and meet other students interested in the healthcare industry. Beyond the national qualifiers, numerous students achieved recognition for their exceptional performances throughout the event.

"We're extremely proud of our HOSA students," said Brad Richardson, OHP Assistant Superintendent. "They worked really hard on their contests, our teachers helped prepare them, and we enjoyed cheering them on from the regional level to the state competition and now onto nationals."
In between contests and sessions, students were able to explore Toledo and watch a Mud Hen’s game at Fifth Third Field.
The HOSA International Leadership Conference is scheduled for June 26-29 in Houston, TX, where OHP's national qualifiers will represent Ohio Hi-Point and their partner districts on the international stage.
