BELLEFONTAINE, OH — Nearly 50 Ohio Hi-Point students were acknowledged Wednesday morning at the Academic Achievement Breakfast for their excellent performance in various subject areas. This event, which celebrates academic success, included students from all Logan County Schools. Ohio Hi-Point hosted the breakfast and the OHP Culinary Arts students catered the meal.
Speakers included Scott Howell, the Superintendent of the Midwest Regional Educational Service Center; Meredith Reffy from American Honda Motor Company; Jason Brown, Principal of Bellefontaine High School; Annette Ramga-Alatorre, Principal of Benjamin Logan High School; Kyle Wager, Principal of Indian Lake High School; Tonya Ramey, Director at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center; and Kelly Kauffman, Principal at Riverside High School.
The keynote speaker was Tara Cascioli a 2017 Indian Lake alumna and current Youth Leader at The Lighthouse at Indian Lake, as well as IT Director for Indian Lake Community Church. In her remarks she highlighted the value of risk-taking and self-care in both personal and professional development.
