DECA Students

MARYSVILLE, Ohio – Students from Ohio Hi-Point’s DECA Chapter at Marysville High School hosted a career fair for the Marysville High School and Marysville Early College High School juniors and seniors on Tuesday, February 28.

Over 30 businesses were in attendance to speak to students about their industry, hiring process, and answer any questions students had about the career field. Students had the opportunity to network with representatives from the healthcare, automotive, construction/HVAC, law enforcement, animal care, hospitality, and culinary industries.

The career fair was organized by the following DECA members in conjunction with Ohio Hi-Point’s Internship Coordinator at Marysville, Tammy Cooper: Sophie Cline, Maddie Burgdorf, Melany More Flores, Dominike Mata, Lauren Eizensmits, and Katie Palmer.

The OHP/Marysville DECA students are using the career fair as their DECA project - presenting the research, implementation, and evaluation of the event - at the Ohio DECA competition next week!

Students involved in the OHP/Marysville DECA chapter are enrolled in Ohio Hi-Point’s Supply Chain Management satellite program at Marysville High School.
