Students will gain the experience needed to either work in the restaurant industry, pursue additional Culinary Arts training to become a chef, or a combination of both. While running the Sloan Inn Restaurant on campus, students work with a variety of foods, flavors, and spices. This ProStart program is accredited through the Ohio Restaurant Association and students have the opportunity to earn a ProStart Certification.

Whatever your pathway, whether it's employment, enrollment, or enlistment, the Culinary Arts program will provide you the opportunities to reach your goals through valued industry certifications, exposure to our college partners, and by taking advantage of our Work-Based Learning program. Students can go on to become chefs, restaurant managers, bakers, dietitians, or start their own business.

SLOAN INN RESTAURANT
Our Culinary Arts students run and operate the Sloan Inn, which is open to the public. They are also available to cater and host private events. More information will become available as the school year starts and the restaurant gets up and running.
