EMT
This course is designed for high school students interested in pursuing a career in emergency medical services.
Throughout the program, students will engage in extensive learning that covers a wide range of essential topics and skills in emergency medical care while earning their EMT Certification. Students will gain comprehensive knowledge about the principles and practices of emergency medical care. This includes understanding human anatomy, medical terminologies, and various emergency procedures.
The course emphasizes hands-on training in a variety of lifesaving techniques. Students will learn to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with different illnesses and injuries. Skills taught include CPR, wound management, managing respiratory emergencies, and more.
Students will participate in simulated emergency situations, enhancing their decision-making and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments. This approach ensures that they are well-prepared for real-life challenges.
