Parking Changes

Ohio Hi-Point is moving the high school front entrance to the opposite side of the building as construction begins on the building renovation project. Beginning on January 19, 2021, the process for student drop-off and student pick-up will be changed to accommodate the change.  Please review and follow the new drop-off, pick-up, and parking locations for students, parents, and visitors. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation during this exciting time!

Parents:
All parents who drop students off for school in the morning will enter the parking lot through what has traditionally been the student exit gate nearest the Nancy J. Knight School of Nursing.  Please park your vehicle in the 6th row (highlighted in YELLOW on the below map) while dropping off and picking up your student(s).  You will then exit through the same gate which you entered.  When picking up your student(s), we ask that you please park facing State Route 540.  Parents will then be dismissed before any student drivers.

Student Drivers:
The first row of parking spots will remain for drivers of large trucks (highlighted in GREEN on the below map).  All other student drivers will park in rows 2, 3, 4 and 5 (highlighted in BLUE on the below map).  You will enter the building at Point C on the below map as you always have.  At dismissal, you will report directly to your car and wait to be dismissed as you always have.

Bus Drivers & Riders:
Buses (both morning and mid-day) will now enter campus and make an immediate LEFT turn toward the student parking lot.  Students will be dropped off in front of Point B on the below map (ABLE/GED Building) and will enter the high school through Point A on the below map.  Beginning on January 19, all bus riders will be dismissed from school at 2:20 pm.  At dismissal, students will exit through Point C on the below map.  Buses will be parked “nose to tail” in the marked spots beginning in front of Building S (Facilities & Grounds Storage) and proceeding toward entry point C then around toward the Nancy J. Knight School of Nursing.  Once loaded, buses will exit through the traditional student exit and onto State Route 540.  Buses should be loaded and off campus before any other students are dismissed.
