Sealed bids will be received by the Ohio Hi-Point Joint Vocational School District Board of Education as provided in this notice for the Career Tech/Science Addition and Building R Renovation Project. Contract Documents, which include additional details, are on file and available for purchase from Arc Document Solutions, LLC at order.e-arc.com/arcEOC/ARCPlanRoom.aspx. Contract Documents can be obtained in electronic format from the Architect and can be viewed for initial reference at the Architect’s office. All questions on and requests to view the Contract Documents should be addressed to Daniel J. Freytag, AIA, Freytag & Associates, Inc., at dfreytag@freytagic.com by the deadline in the Instruction to Bidders.
Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to Ohio Hi-Point Joint Vocational School District Board of Education, ATTN Eric Adelsberger, Treasurer, 2280 State Route 540, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311, and plainly marked on the outside "OHIO HI-POINT JOINT VOCATIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION – CAREER TECH/SCIENCE ADDITION AND BUILDING R RENOVATION PROJECT BID." Bids will be received until 12:00 p.m., local time December 8, 2020. Immediately after the time for their filing is expired, the bids shall be publicly read by the Treasurer at 2280 State Route 540, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311, in Room 102A.
A pre-bid conference will be held on November 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m., local time, at 2280 State Route 540, Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311 in the Cafeteria/Commons Area. Masks are mandatory.
All bids must include a Bid Guaranty, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. No bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the opening; the Board reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, and conduct necessary investigations to determine bidder responsibility.
