Why I chose Ohio Hi-Point:
Because it was the best way to pursue my passion. My home school does not offer anything close to the opportunities that Ohio Hi-Point does.

I'm involved in the following activities at Ohio Hi-Point:
FFA, United Way Youth Allocations Team, Teen Eco-Summit, Student Delegate

My favorite part about Ohio Hi-Point is:
Getting to interact with peers that have the same interest as me and having the ability to practice my career. Since I'm not 18 it's difficult to find a job in the animal industry. Thanks to Ohio Hi-Point I get to work with animals everyday.

My most memorable moment at Ohio Hi-Point was:
I've had so many memorable moments during my junior year. However, I would have to say that my lab reuniting at the beginning of senior year has been my most memorable moment. We get together so well in the lab even though we all come from such different worlds.

What surprised me most about Ohio Hi-Point was:
How often I get to explore my career and meet people in my field.

The teacher who has had the biggest impact on me is:
My lab instructor, Ms.Curley. She has given me so many opportunities and so much support since I've started Ohio Hi-Point. She does everything she can to ensure that I am getting the education I need and often checks in on us to make sure we are getting enough sleep, not working too much, etc... She's like our animal science.

My advice to students who may be looking to apply to Ohio Hi-Point is:
My advice is to just apply. Even if you aren't sure, take the step. You'll never know what opportunities are open for you if you don't try.

After graduation:
I am planning to attend college.
