The cosmetology students participate in real-world experiences by owning and operating the Hi-Point salon on main campus and hosting several Cut-A-Thons throughout the year. Students may earn their Ohio Board of Cosmetology license and obtain a tanning license, which they can put to use while pursuing further education or career opportunities.
Students learn about hair styling; manicures and pedicures; trends in the fashion, make-up and hair industry; and discover opportunities in the beauty field from the local salon to the big-time Hollywood stylist all in our on-site salon. Students also have the opportunity to attend a variety of conferences and study trips.
