Graphic Design and Printing Technology

This is a two-year college tech prep course designed to prepare students for careers in the digital arts and print communications field.

Students are continually experimenting with new and cutting-edge trends in the communication arts realm using state-of-the-art computer software and equipment. From screen printing t-shirts to creating augmented reality pieces, students produce a variety of conventional and digitally printed products for the school district and local businesses.

Multimedia Marketing

The Multimedia Marketing program uses business principles and marketing strategies to prepare college-bound students for successful media careers.

Students learn about video and audio production, web design, motion graphics, photography, and much more. Hands-on experiences include working with industry grade software and equipment such as 4K camcorders, mirrorless and DSLR cameras, professional audio equipment and MacBooks.

The Adobe Creative Cloud becomes a key piece of a student’s journey to success by working with Premier, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and others. Students also learn to utilize industry standard content management systems such as WordPress for web design and blogging.

Students enhance their skills by working on professional development projects and promotional activities while developing leadership and communication skills in conjunction with participation in BPA.

Mr. Lacher set me on my career path that I honestly had no idea I'd find. He's taught valuable skills in our field of work as well as given some very important life lessons.
