Gabrielle Fisher named March Student of the Month -

Why I chose Ohio Hi-Point:
I wanted to further my education while also learning valuable trade skills. I also wanted to remove myself from my home school environment to grow.

I'm involved in the following activities at Ohio Hi-Point:
FCCLA, ProStart, National Programs in Action, ProStart Management

My favorite part about Ohio Hi-Point is:
My favorite part about Ohio Hi-Point is the caring staff that helped me reach my full potential. As well as the friends and family i've made here.

My most memorable moment at Ohio Hi-Point was:
My most memorable moment at Hi-Point is hard to pinpoint. One of the best experiences ive had was giving back to the community. Doing the pumpkin roll sales and the YudaBand fundraiser will always be something to carry with me.

What surprised me most about Ohio Hi-Point was:
The independence I gained when I came to Ohio Hi-Point was impressive. I was treated like an adult furthering there education, which was a refreshing thing to see. I believe I have thrived more from that than anything.

The teacher who has had the biggest impact on me is:
Almost all of the staff here at Ohio Hi-Point is phenomenal, I've never met better educators. There care and influence over all there students is amazing. I can confidently say that the teacher who has had the biggest impact on me as a student, as well as a person would have to be Mr. Gilbert. He's taught me so much over the course of this year. His passion for what he does is unmatched, I've never seen a teacher with more heart into what they do. OHP is very lucky to have him.

My advice to students who may be looking to apply to Ohio Hi-Point is:
Make the jump. Life is constantly moving, constantly changing. Make Ohio Hi-Point one of your first major decisions to set you on the right path for success.

After graduation:
After graduation I am pursuing to become a parole officer.
