Taste of the Future Open House/Career Preview EXPO

Ohio Hi-Point Career Center invites you to sample your future at our annual Taste of the Future Open House and Career Preview Expo.
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2010 from 4 p.m.-7:30 p.m. at the Bellefontaine Campus
$5 for tickets to each restaurant's samplings (one ticket per restaurant). $1 additional tickets. Proceeds benefit the OHP Scholarship Fund.
Sophomore Menu:
- Visit program labs that you wish to explore more in-depth
- Meet with instructors
- Get a first-hand look at life at OHP
- Complete an application for admission
- Get free stuff and enter prize drawings
- Visit with colleges and universities in the Expo
- Sample foods and menu items from local restaurants ($3 for tasting bracelet)
Parent Menu:
- Parents can meet instructors and explore options for their child
- Learn more about OHP's Adult Education options for your future
- Speak with college reps about financial aid and college pathways
- Get free stuff and enter prize drawings
- Learn how to save your family money on college costs
- Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Sample foods and menu items from local restaurants ($3 for tasting bracelet)
Adult Learner Menu:
- Explore programs in our Adult & Continuing Education Division
- Learn more about college pathways for adults and complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Sample foods and menu items from local restaurants ($3 for tasting bracelet)
- Learn more about our Adult Basic and Literacy Education (ABLE) Division and learn how they can help you prepare to go back to college or earn your GED, along with other services
- Explore careers in nursing, pharmacy tech, health information tech, manufacturing, HVAC, industrial re-training, public safety services and more

THE EXPO
Our Expo will feature local restaurants providing "tastings" of samples of their menus, as well as various colleges and universities, community services, OHP businesses and programs and our Adult Ed Cafe, which will showcase our Adult Education learning opportunities that can propel adults into a new phase in their careers or send them down a pathway to college!
