- Students are provided many internship opportunities at elementary, middle, and high schools in various content areas.
- Students compile portfolios that summarize and reflect upon their internship experiences.
- Completion of this program leads to career opportunities as a:
- childcare worker

- social worker
- preschool
- elementary, middle, or high school teacher
- career technical teacher
- special needs teacher
- counselor
- teacher's aide
- post-secondary teacher
- educational administrator

- College prep algebra with a "C" or better
- 2.0 GPA
- good attendance
- junior standing with no academic deficiencies

- Education is currently experiencing a great teacher shortage, especially in the fields of math, science, engineering, technology, and special education.
