Program Description
This program provides students with intensive training in computer operations needed to acquire Microsoft Certifications. Students achieve proficiency in word processing, database, spreadsheets, presentations, and desktop publishing. Students also become skilled in entrepreneurship, transcription, filing, and various office tasks. They also have the option of taking medical terminology and medical transcription as well as learning information technology applications necessary for IC3 certification.

Post-Secondary Options
Students may continue their education in two- and four-year technical or community college Business Technologies programs. Students receive articulated college credit at Clark State (33 credit hours), Rhodes State (12 credit hours) and University of Northwestern Ohio (up to 23 credit hours) by completing this program.
Job placement through School-To-Work allows students to begin their career prior to high school graduation. Students are members of Business Professionals of America, a career-technical student organization.
