Laptop Program

Ohio Hi-Point Career Center is on the leading-edge of using technology in the classroom.

Since our campus is completely wireless, we are proud to offer every incoming junior a laptop to utilize in the classroom and at home during their time at OHP! The laptop is free and students who earn a 3.5 GPA or 1-year of perfect attendance get to keep the laptop when they complete their program!

The Details:

Incoming Juniors will receive a new laptop to use in their classes.
Students keep their laptops with them during school and take them home at night/weekends.
Students who complete their programs are eligible to purchase the laptop at a substantially reduced price.
The laptops use wireless technology to connect to the school network and internet and can be used with most home internet connections, whether wireless or wired.
The laptops provide an “Equal Access For All” educational opportunity, give students access to “Anytime Anywhere” learning, and are tools that help our school meet education standards set by the U.S. Department of Education and the Ohio Department of Education.
Students who earn a 3.5 GPA or 1-year of perfect attendance get to keep the laptop for FREE when they complete their programs. If a student does not meet this requirement, they can still purchase the laptop upon program completion for a minimal and affordable fee.
