Send Your Transcripts

If you’ve attended regionally accredited colleges other than Clark State, request that your transcripts be sent to us. If your previous college credits allow you to bypass the placements tests (college level English and math), an unofficial copy of your transcript may be used for the first semester only. To register for subsequent semester and to have transfer credits evaluated, you must provide an official copy of your transcript. Transcript evaluation can take up to six weeks. Once it is complete, you will receive an email notification, and you can view your transferred credits via WebAdvisory.

Send all transcripts to: Clark State Admissions Office, P.O. Box 570, Springfield, OH 45501. Transcripts must be received in a sealed envelope in order to be considered official.

Take the College Placement Tests

Unless you have previous college credits in English and math from a regionally accredited college, you’ll need to take the placement tests. To schedule your tests, contact the testing center in Springfield at 937.328.6049, Beavercreek at 937.429.8921 or Bellefontaine at 937.328.6484. Visit accuplacer.collegeboard.org/students for test information and sample questions: You must bring your acceptance letter and valid photo ID when you come in to take the tests.

Remote testing is available if you are an online student and you do not live near one of the Clark State campuses. You may be able to bypass the tests based on your high school transcript or adequate ACT/SAT scores. For assistance, contact the testing center in Springfield at 937.328.6049.
