Kim Davis, Superintendent
Kim Davis has been the superintendent of the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center since 2003 and has overseen a period of impressive growth and success during her brief tenure. An increase in enrollment at the high school, a revitalized adult and continuing education program, and an expansion of programming through high school and adult satellites, including the opening of the Urbana South Campus in 2009 are just some of the accomplishments she has helped to lead. Her leadership and vision can also be seen with the high school's 2008 ranking as the 10th best career and technical school in the state, especially significant since the school was ranked 37th out of 49 schools before her arrival. Davis has a passion for career and technical education, which began as a career-technical business student in high school. She served as a high school and adult education business teacher for 14 years before spending time in the private sector as an educational editor with South-Western Publishing Company. Prior to arriving at OHP, Davis was principal at Stebbins High School in Dayton, Ohio for five years. A graduate of Bowling Green State University (B.S. in business education), Davis also received an M.Ed in personnel training and development from Xavier University and her Education Specialist degree in educational administration from Wright State University. She is the current president of the Ohio Association of Career-Technical Superintendents (OACTS). She is also an active part of OHP's surrounding communities, serving on the boards of the Logan County Chamber of Commerce, the Hardin County Business-Education Together Council, Urbana University Foundation, and the Graham Digital Academy, amongst others. Davis enjoys cycling and also spends time as a scoring official for hot-air balloon competitions. She is married to her husband Scott and the two reside in Marysville.

Eric Adelsberger, Treasurer
Since 1997, Eric Adelsberger has served as the school district's chief financial officer. He has overseen a period of responsible fiscal management during his tenure in the treasurer's office. Prior to coming to OHP, Adelsberger served as a state auditor from 1992-1994 and as the district treasurer of Fairbanks Local Schools in Union County from 1994-1997. He received his bachelor's degree from Wright State University. Adelsberger is married to his wife Krista, who serves as an elementary principal in the Bellefontaine City School District, a partner school of Ohio Hi-Point's. They have three children: Connor, Abbi and Sophie. Adelsberger enjoys spending his free time coaching his children's sports' teams and remodeling his home. Adelsberger resides in Bellefontaine with his family.

Darlene Chiles, Adult & Continuing Education Director
Darlene Chiles has served as director of OHP's Adult & Continuing Education Division since 2002. Prior to this role she worked as an instructor in the practical nursing program and as an instructional supervisor of adult education. Overall, Chiles has dedicated 21 years of her professional life to OHP and currently oversees an adult and continuing education program that services adults in six counties and has seen incredible growth and stability during her tenure. Before moving into the field of education and administration, Chiles worked as a nurse for 14 years and a nursing assistant in high school and college for five years. She has her bachelor's of science in nursing and received her master's degree in educational administration. Chiles is married to her husband David and has two sons, Andrew and Russell, one granddaughter, Audrey Marie, and one grandson, Spencer Ward. In her spare time, Chiles enjoys spending time with her family, reading, walking and swimming, singing, and attending various school and community theater events and concerts. Chiles resides in Waynesfield with her husband.

Deb Wortman, Satellite Director
Deb Wortman has been at Ohio Hi-Point Career Center since 2004 and arrived at the Career Center to lead the district's efforts to expand it's offerings at various satellite locations. An Instructional Supervisor overseeing OHP's Satellite programming from 2004-2008, Wortman was promoted to serve as the first-ever Satellite Director. Wortman spent 16 years in the classroom at Dayton Stebbins High School teaching business before coming to OHP. She earned her bachelor's degree in business education from Wright State University, her master's degree in the same area from Wright State and earned her principal's licensure from Antioch-McGregor. She serves on the Business and Education Workforce Team (BEWT) for Union County and the Clark State Tech Prep Executive Council. She is married to her husband David, has one daughter, Rachelle, two twin step-sons, Nathan and Chad, and three grandchildren, Bridgette, Owen and Landen. Wortman resides in Piqua.

Joel Staudter, High School Associate Director
Joel Staudter was named Associate Director for Academics and Student Services in 2009 for the High School Division of Ohio Hi-Point Career Center. He spent the previous two years as an Instructional Supervisor for the high school and has spent a total of eight years in education. Staudter graduated from Bowling Green State University and has completed his graduate work from the University of Dayton. He is married to his wife Kelly and has two daughters, Elizabeth and Allison. He holds professional memberships in the Ohio Association of Career-Technical Education, the Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development and the Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators.

Shelly Swaney, High School Associate Director
Shelly Swaney was named Associate Director for Career-Technical Education in 2009 for the High School Division of Ohio Hi-Point Career Center. A former business teacher at Upper Scioto Valley High School, Swaney became an Instructional Supervisor at the high school in 2007. Swaney received her bachelor's degree from Ohio Northern University and her master's degree from the University of Findlay, where also attained her principal's licensure. She is active outside of school in 4-H as an advisor and is the president of the Allen County Sheep Association, as her husband, Joe, and three sons, Nathan, Aaron and Jonathon, all are involved in raising and showing sheep. Swaney resides in Harrod and is also involved in Leadership Logan County.

Amy Main, Adult & Continuing Education Supervisor
Amy Main was named Adult & Continuing Education Supervisor for the 2010-2011 school year. Prior to her new assignment Main coordinated the Nancy J. Knight School of Nursing Practical Nursing program and also served as a nursing instructor within the program. She helped secure a $200,000 grant from the Ohio Board of Nursing in 2009-2010 that allowed the nursing program to expand into Hardin County, offering more opportunities for adults to return to school and enter the health field. Main holds her B.S. in Nursing from Mt. Carmel College of Nursing and her M.S. in Nursing Education from Indiana State University. She worked as a pediatric nurse at Nationwide Children's Hospital and as a pediatric case manager at the Franklin County Board of Health before coming to Ohio Hi-Point. She is an active member of the Association of Career-Technical Educators, the Ohio Organization of Practical Nurse Educators, the Dayton Area Nurse Educators, the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society and sits on the nursing advisory committees for Clark State Community College and Urbana University. Main resides in Marysville with her husband and three children.
